When I'm fully recovered from a recent knee/leg reconstruction that stems from the one and only time I experienced a harsh get-off three years ago that nearly caused a leg amputation above the knee, I'll be sure to let you know. I hope that's not too much info. for your sense of ignorance to absorb regarding your intensely witty comment.

These momos never cease to amaze me, it's like watching a dog eat it's own shit.

In route to a track day it's money well spent, the return trip is another story.

Tell us how you REALLY feel Shirley!

No need to get your thong all wet. I have noticed that you have almost 4,000 posts so I figured you had a bike.

Now to my original question, what kind of bike do/did you ride?

As I've said before, I've been riding over 10 years, long before this site, and I'd still be on the road if I wasn't dealing with this medical bullshit. My last bike was totaled, and a description is and has been conveniently listed in the signature of my replies.

No worries ace, nothing got wet, and just so we're clear, you've been currently informed to correct any confusion you have. I hope I've answered all your questions.

I am loving the 35mpg i get with my saturn, even with my bike i tow I get 33mpg or so!

I've always wondered why more people don't do that. My dad owned a dodge pick-up for a while so he could haul his quad around. He drove the truck every day to work and got 11mpg for one time a year he would take his quad some where. I told him to buy something smaller that could pull a small trailer, which is most vehicles. I've updated the numbers for currentish gas prices and a conservative mpg, but this was the basic idea I laid out to him.

60 miles day @ 300 work days: 18000 miles / 11mpg = 1636 gallons @ $3.00 per gallon = $4908

60 miles day @ 300 work days: 18000 miles / 20mpg = 900 gallons @ $3.00 per gallon = $2700

So basically it's a $2,000 difference, which would pay for a trailer in 1 year. Not to mention all the bunnies you would be saving.
