I've been working on an R1 I picked up in october over the winter. Finally got a chance to take it out this past weekend down in Virginia for a TPM trackday. Still not 100% comfortable on the bike but I will get there by next weekend. So far I'm loving it, its a lot smoother, has ridiculous brakes, loves to corner, and has quite a bit on the top end power-wise. Looking forward to riding with TPM some more and racing in WERA this year. Also my paintjob was done w/ lowe's spraypaint and a lot of wet sanding by hand!
