Alright, i have started to track my weight loss and lazy to do it in a friggin spreadsheet, i am doing it here :D.

My weight around March 5th or 6th - 205lbs
Goal by July 5th - 175lbs

Posting it here just for motivation :lol:

Levi cardio and some core body training will be very helpful One it will help you loose weight but as you get faster on the track it becomes more physically demanding So building your endurance now wil pay off later.

I also have to weigh in today so we will see how that goes.

I've seen dudes spend thousands of dollars in suspension and larger power plants just cuz they're too damn lazy to lose the weight. Save your cash and drop the fat, you'll feel like a new man, and your heart and body will thank you for it, cuz you're not getting any younger and gravity wreaks havoc on your joints. You can reach that goal and keep it by simply staying off the junk and increasing your cardio as others have said. But you can treat yourself here and there, just stick to dieting during the week, and cheating on the weekends, even the pros do it.

and mine is usually around 160 to 180 with a high level of HDL ;)

Sept. 07 245lbs, March 08 207lbs. leaner, tighter world. I can totally feel the difference on my bike too, as far as mobility, way easier to move around on the bike.

I just weighed myself and I'm 5 pounds lighter (180-175) than I was before my surgery last week, I have my work cut out for me at the gym soon. :ohmygod:

Not everyone with a little size is on something...although sometimes I wish I was. As a natural it is incredibly difficult to get real hard and maintain good size. Plus I am really not very big. I carry weight well and am pretty evenly proportioned so the weight is deceiving.

I'm 5 ft 11 1/2 been as heavy as 253 on crank, ain't gonna lie about it. Never heard of anyone competing at 265 natural, unless they're 7 ft. tall. But if you are truly natural, good for you, post some pics. Heres one of me around 235-40 I'm down to 205-10 now.:)

It kind of looks that way in the pic. poor lighting, no tan and it was a camera phone pic. I've cut down over 20 lbs since then, mainly in the gut.

I am trying to get back down to 185lbs. at (5'10") I am about 190 at the moment and I have lost about 8 pounds in the last two months. I just upped my cardio routine to 35 minutes on the eliptical trainer before each workout 3-4 times a week. My Cholesterol dropped to 260 from 292 in the process. High cholesterol runs in the family. Still trying to get it under more control with diet and exercise.
I have been in the gym steady now since October and I feel much better than I did a year ago.

Statin drugs can cause more problems than they solve for someone like me. I just heard that unless you have two out of three of these conditions:
*high cholesterol
*overweight
*have family history of heart disease
you shouldn't take statin drugs. My doctor isn't looking to start me on them Tom, diet and exercise are beginning to work.

I figured with the family history of high cholesterol they may be more agressive. The rule of thumb is to go with 6 months of diet modification and exercise and if that doesnt work to go to the meds (of course it usualy doesnt work because people dont change their diets or exercise more)

There are hundreds of studies on statins and the other cholesterol meds. Statins are good medications but IMO are the last resort. If other meds and diet can controll the cholesterol then thats much better. My dad has been on them for years but he thinks its the magic bullet, he can take this medication and still shovel down haagen daaz and all the other unhealthy stuff he eats. He has had his liver enzymes bump up a few times and hes been off the meds till it came back down then they put him back on it.

too many people today want that magic pill to cure their problems instead of eating right and exercising and the drug companies ar elaughing all the way to the bank.

And i dont even want to think about my leathers! last year i was 185 ish and the pants were kinda tight, so now im 200 and im scared to even try them on...:nopity:

But that would only be a side effect of the cardio I am doing, and trying eat a little smarter (like eating breakfast, and eating dinner at an earlier time).

I Don't really use much, never have, small amounts worked well for me, and I got pretty big before I ever tried it. I've been off now for quite a while, dieted down, alot more shredded now than before, not so much water retention. I'm actually enjoying the lighter bodyweight.

(ready for this?) the Cookie Diet. :nod2: trust me I needed to lose it. I'm 5'9 and by BMI calculations I was "overweight" so my goal was to be NOT overweight. I actually would like to lose about 15 more

Ok I'm posting because I need to get back on track.
In January I tipped the scales at 215 by March I dropped down to 185. I was doing strictly cardio 5 days a week and watching my calories. I hit the gym this morning and was at 190. My new goal is 175 by the end of July.

I'm getting married next fall so I have one year to get my ass in shape. I'm at 170 right now & would love to get down to 149-150.

I'm getting married next fall so I have one year to get my ass in shape. I'm at 170 right now & would love to get down to 149-150.

i lost a lot of weight initially. now i am on a slow pace. i am still on eatasfewcalories as possible diet. but on the weekends i let eat whatever i want.

weekdays i stick to my few calorie diet. low fat low carb it doesnt matter. limit the calorie in take make sure there is a bit of fiber in your food.

multivitamin tablets.

i try to limit between 800-1000 calories. and there is plenty of food you can fit in that many calories.

I do some basic yoga for 15 minutes in the morning thats about it.

Not so easy but def doable.

I've been putting on weight recently, I'm UP to about 154! it's funny, but I can actually feel the extra few pounds on me when I move around

I seem to be finding the weight that you guys are loosing!!!
it's been over two months since I've greatly cut down on smoking, damn near stopped, and I've put on almost 10lbs :wow: Now I can use some size on my stealth little frame, but I'm wooried about gaining "bad" weight. So I decided to actually go to the gym (since I've been paying for it anyway :) ) I never really ate too much crap, but far from perfect, so I'm thinking of being a little more careful on the diet side too.

I finally dropped the annoying muscle bulk and extra body fat from 185lbs to a lean/strong 160lbs at 6 feet tall. My body fat percentage is 8.2 and BMI's 21. I don't touch weights, all cardio and complete body plyometrics/core exercises with 4 sets of 70 pushups per day for my debut in men's amature road bike racing this year. Only shitty part was getting new clothes and having my suits tailored cuz my waist dropped from a 34 to 32 and I'm down a full shirt size from XL to L or even M in some cases. My healthy diet is no more than 1,500 calories per week day, and I cheat on weekends with some junk food but even still I probably don't exceed 2,000 calories.
