office boredom
we've got a few expired backup tapes. before i shredded them, i created this little scene (see pic).
i asked my team of 11 techs; if they could identify what it looked like i'd buy them lunch. out of the 11 only 1 got it.

What are those magnet things that look like pork chops on the cube wall?
Great, now I'm hungry again.

those pork chop shapes are hard drive magnets. i was bored one day (again) & took apart a failed hard drive. took the platters out & use them as mirrors to make sure i have my necktie on straight. the magnets are damn strong, you need a screwdriver to pry them off from the steel desk.
