That is what they get for living below sea level.. dumbasses.. The Government is responsible how??? For years it has been known that a direct hit to new Orleans via a hurricane would be major damage...and it was.

If I were the US government I'd withdraw all federal aid to disaster's including Katrina victims and institute a funding scheme based on public donations and cite the reason as the lawsuits from the New Orleans residents. Then laugh how no one wanted to help.

Sure you can... the "government" just has all of us taxpayers pay the bill.

What pity I had for the people down there is quickly dissipating due to their greedy money-grabbing . I remember how the "citizens" of New Orleans where helping themselves to new TV's and Liquor from stores they didn't own and ignoring the needs of the elderly and infirm trapped in their homes. I owe them NOTHING....
