I just opened a box of sugar smacks, it's sealed in a mylar (sp) bag, similar to corn pops came in as I remember. Both cearals are coated with a sugar coating I'd venture to guess even though the sugar coat is hydroscopic it still probably seal out the moisture from the center of the cereal. Are you sure your corn pops aren't in a sealed bag?
