It's probably cement powder (or speed dry like Cakes mentioned) to clean up some fluid (probably oil) that was on the track from a prior crash. The dude gets his elbow down!!!

Props to that guy, wish I had his skill. Looks like his leg and elbow were actually keeping the bike upright enough on the contact patches. :arrr:

Yeah when i saw that patch I knew I was gonna hit it...I held on for dear life...Thank god I pulled it through though...You see me look behind after I dragged my elbow...lol...I was very scared..
