View Full Version : 6/22 Rainier Summit!!! Climb for Cancer Foundation

we did it. we summited rainier 6/22 at 10 am. sustained 60 mph winds. gusts 80-100 mph. 17 degrees. -17 with the windchill. what a time.
Our climb was done as part of The Climb For Cancer Foundations 50-50-1 event (www.50-50-1.com). As of 6/26 we have raised over $3500.00 for the Foundation. We climbed in honor of my Grandmother Dorothy Sypniewski who recently passed from cancer.

hell yea dude....14,411 feet. it was sick. cant wait to get back out there. next trip is most likely gonna be a 10 day.....we'll be climbing Hood, Baker, and adams and maybe one more.... all in 10 days. next year...possibly denali.

words cant...and pictures def dont do a single thing for it. the thing looks massive from 2 hours away from seattle....let alone when your climbing it.

thats pretty friggen awesome... grats!

makes me regret taking the easy way up the mtn on the hut trip (10th mtn division huts in CO) earlier this year...
