This weekend Sue and I finally got around to chopping off the bridge under the R6. I went with the VFX undertail light. I must say that hearing about people getting rear ended and claiming not to see the signals made me want to get the brightest light I could find. I think I found it. This company also has a swap program where they will send you a complete kit and then issue a credit once they receive your OEM light.

I would definately reccommend this product. The directions were quite clear and the photographs were spot on. Installation was quite easy and all connections matched up with the factory harnesses.

It also included a relay to deal with any fast blink issues. Down the road I may look into getting the front signals as Greg's Customs (my favorite) does not have them in blue for the 2006 R6.

I think even Ron was impressed by the light these throw off.

I had that VFX Kit on My old bike and those are the brightest leds I've seen. The best rear led solution on the market imho.

I swear Ron...he was lighting up the roadway behind him for me with that light. It's by far the brightest light I have ever seen on an undertail...

Do you have to call the FAA before you taxi down your driveway?

Wouldnt be a bad idea.. LOL Also as they promised i got full credit for my OEM light that I mailed back to them.(75 bucks) Nice to get some $$ for the old light and know that after they mod it, there will be another one available.

They look nice. But after seeing 91 LED's in a light kit, few of them are as bright. they also did not carry 06 + R6

Tell you what Ron, you pay for the plugs and I'll ditch the rear pegs..

And at least 60.00 for the plugs is a bit steep.

I agree on the cost, its insane.!!! That forum is looking into a group buy which I may get into if it ever takes hold. I also think that duct tape would look a little too ghetto fabulous for my tastes..
