A few of my friends have the Wii and it's a ton of fun. Here's my opinion on it...

Wii Sports are great... tennis and bowling are awesome and by far my favorite, the boxing will truly work up a sweat (no lie, it's very intensive), the baseball is so/so, and the golf is a lot of fun too. I have played a few other games. I played Zelda, which the game itself is great, and Red something? Some first person shooter, and that's okay. The issue I have with other games so far is that the controllers are so sensitive, it's tough to make them do exactly what you want them to do. Small tics or unsteady hands lead you to go the wrong way sometimes, etc. The Wii really does work great (it's certainly NOT like the Power Glove), but the games aren't all that exciting. I think they will get there, but it's more of a party system than a single player system in my opinion.

My wife and I play almost every night. My tennis skill level is off the charts, I'll own you all!

I was really cocky when I first got the wii about bowling. I was all county and conference in high school so I was thinking this would be a lock. Yeah, my wife beat me for like the first two weeks straight. I finally got it to where I'm throwing 250 consistently.

Nice. 286 is my real all time high followed by a few 279's. I haven't bowled in years though :(

phillipinos do love their group activites.. i was just watching a special onthe news on how much phillipinos love to get together and jam out with their kareoke machiens... so i guess the Wii is your version of it .. :lol:

yo the Wii is cool if you wanna play with your friends but not really a system you can sit around a play by yourself for hours. You obviously cant lay in bed and play a video game on a hungover sunday... but the bowling is definitely sweet!
