I'm lookin for it...in the meantime, are you getting an error, or just lookin to have it?

Well basically joe his bike starting flashing the "F1" light. It wouldn't do it all the time just some of the time.

He would shut the bike off and the light would go off. Took it to the dealer and they got no error codes.

Now the light is coming on more and more.

But since i don't own a "me too" bike i got no help for him.

Ahh...does it flash back and forth between the temp and FI? I've had that happen to me once in a while when I had my gix. It would happen mainly when I would drop a couple gears and go WOT...but would never get an error code so I would just turn it off and start it back up to clear. I hear this happens to alot of people who do the pair mod too. Any mods to the bike?

I have the service manual - Check your PM's...

Like nick said it flases FI with the temp. It does not come on when riding, it comes on after stoped and then start the bike. This time it also did not want to idle and a little black smoke puffed out of the exhaust. Seems to only do it when it is hot.
Mods: half exhaust with pcIII and the TRE.

Your PCIII might be takin a crap(its common)...unplug it see if it still happens.

as overly simple and silly as it sounds, check and tighten your battery terminals. loose terminals is a VERY common cause of that light

Thanks guys...I will check the battery terminals and if it still does it I will take PCIII out and see.

Here is what I found.....I was in the process of taking out the pcIII and found where I had it in the trunk, the wires comming out of it was rubbing the frame from the vibration and rubbed thru to the bare wires. I fixed the bare wires and taped it up good. I also repositioned it so it will not happen again. Running great again!!!
Thanks for all the input.
