Insured, yes I'm sure it is. But there were only 400 of these exotics
made and that damage looks to be fatal to the chassis.
If I remember right the Enzo has a carbon fiber chassis, and
that would not be a repairable item. Probably not replaceable either.
So that leaves him with a big check for the value of the car,
and him looking for another Enzo. I'll bet he doesn't get nearly
enough to buy another Enzo either.

It may be insured on the street, but I highly doubt that the insurance company is going to insure it while on a track, especially with the video all over the internet proving it.

Exotic car policy will have provisions for non-racing events on closed circuits.

I believe all exotic sports cars have understeer intentionally, I wouldn't want a super sensative wheel at 180mph.

Well, if the Enzo is anything like the other new Ferraris, the suspension is F1 style and has a knob to select the type of driving you want to do. He just didn't know how to drive... came in WAY too hot for that turn... of course, if he has the carbon brakes option he might have also forgot you have to get heat into them before they work @ 100%... either way, it sucks for the Enzo, but still made me laugh.

Yeah, that movie looks absolutly terrible too... I believe this was a charity event, it's possible the car was lent to him, or that it was his (I'm sure he has the money).
