Oh the rumors in TV-land this off-season, you almost needed a scorecard to keep track.
This one is not a rumor, though: very well-placed sources tell Soup that the USGP from
Laguna Seca will be on Speed and on FOX--the latter the network which recently
broadcast the Daytona 500 car race.
While Speed is ported into 70-odd million homes, Fox is basically in every US home with a television.
Essentially this means that more people could see the USGP this year than saw that one daring girl
grab Nick Hayden by the ears and give him a lip-lock on the Today show a few years back.
By the way, that girl remains a Soup hero.
