Cool vid, was that a tpm day or you dont know. That was a crazy pass going into turn 1. I also think he got a bit hung up behind that blue bike. I like the outside passes going through 7 too. I will keep that in mind if I get fast enough to pass anyone in the red group:roflmao:

2 months and counting :ride:

Orion's from the DC area. Pretty sure it was a NESBA day. That shifting though - ouch. Painful to listen to.

And that's why he's wearing the orange. :ride:

That "Boys Of Summer" song seems to be a popular choice these days.

1st thing I noticed too......I was like WTF, this guy/girl need "shifting for dummies" or shifting 101.:ohmygod:

My speakers here died so I couldnt hear the pain of the shifting. I do wonder if that speedo is accurate I cant believe that you hit 120 on that back straight, then again my speedo is taped up so I dont know.

i think the guy ran a 105 somewhere in there, so yeah, u can hit 120 on the back straight easy.

im sure he changed gearing also, so hes probably not going as fast as indicated

Being the speedo was displayed for the video I was wondering if the cam-bike had a healer installed as well.

The short straight coming past start finish? Very easy to get to 120+ there. My TLR and RC51 can do it with no trouble at all. When I get onto the top straight coming out of the double apex, I am already pushing 95+, the rest is an up shift and roll on.

Getting a bad case of cabin fever..need to get out on the track. April is a long way off.

120+ is easy enough to reach on both the front
and back straights with a liter bike. I don't think the pass
was very close though, the camera is only seeing straight
out in front, and the rider has his peripheral vision as well
as his hearing to help him out. I think he knew the coach was there.
He should definately stop using the clutch on his upshifts.

He was running times in the high 1:05 low 1:06 range the first 2 laps, once the CR passed him he slowed down a little. Can't wait to go on that track again. I was getting to the top of 5th on the straights, prob around 140 - 150. Still gotta work up the balls to keep the thottle open taking the kink at the end of the back straight.

That does take some practice. You were really moving during the TPM CUP races there last season. I get the bike to a bit over 140 at the kink, keeping on the gas past that point is hard to get used to. Something I have to work on as well. Wasn't that obvious until I watched my own video from Shadow Video to see when I came off the gas....pretty early and it was costing me some serious time.
Looking forward to this season.

+1 to getting up to speed on the back straight I forget if it was 4th or 5th gear almost pinned at the kink

Looks like a normal day to me :ride:

It's exciting when you are going into T1 on the left with the rear sliding  :nod2:

Since my lap timer covers my speedo, I've always been curious as to how fast I was actually going through the corners. I'm surprised @ how soone he brakes, yet still does decent times. I've just gotta figure out my entry speeds & I think I can drop 4 seconds, easy. I brake way later than that guy, but I know that I also brake too much :ohmygod:
how long til the beaver opens?

Watching it on video is deceiving. He's probably not braking as early as you think...
