The tires will only last 15 minutes, but that's ok, the fuel will only last 12 minutes.

Radio or not, nothing's catching that beast, at least for the first 12 minutes.

I know it's the world's fastest car and all, but the acceleration is the fun part... once you're doing 250 mph, I can't see that being any different then 100mph, except more,"wow, if I crashed, I would be dead" talk. I would have more fun just hitting that 0-60 mark from light to light ;)

I love Top Gear, what a great show.

Shit dude... a 250mph crash in a car that was designed to go 250mph would not be nearly as bad as a car that was designed and engineered to make 95hp, that someone threw a 650 powerplant into and called it a race car. They didn't cut any corners with the Veyron. I've seen pictures of people walking away from nearly 200mph crashes in the SLR McLaren and Enzo, so I don't think this would be much different... but of course there are a lot of variables and circumstances to consider.

Point being: they're high quality cars. When they build them, they take high speed crashes into consideration. I think you could walk away from a 200+ mph crash if you're behind the wheel of a Veyron.

After hitting 250mph for 12 minutes, 100mph must feel like 25mph...what a rush.

Wouldn't matter really, crashing one of those and walking away from it still leaves you in a suicidal rage. After wadding up a 2 million dollar car, why would you want to live?

They're 1.5 mill, and if you can afford one... I would assume you could afford another ;)

there are plenty of people who don't walk away either... they may take safety into consideration, but anything that goes 250-0 in .002 seconds after hitting a wall, you're dead. Professional racing still finds people getting seriously injured often enough even with all the new safety innovations, and real roads aren't built to soften the crashes like race tracks usually are. I've seen crashes of the Enzos and stuff too, and sometimes the only reason they walk away is that at that speed, when they hit the telephone pole, it just shreds the car and the cockpit continues moving down the road, which is what happened to that guy racing the SLR in cali. If he hit that pole square, he would have been dead.
