I can't believe I didn't post anything about this.

It's a 9-10 mile relay race with obstacles and such. It can be done with a 3 participant team or one person.

This is going on October 1st. Anyone else participating?

humph. Dumbed down adventure racing. I used to AR when I lived in Delaware. Its fun stuff. I wonder if any of participants in this race would know how to work a compass and map or fix/set their own rope...

sounds like a lot of fun...but i just started going to the gym for the past 2 weeks....i'm not in shape for a 3-4 mile run just yet

Sorry I announced this so late. I could have sworn I posted about this before. I guess I'm getting old fast!

It's only one week left, and I've yet to do any real training.

I survived the urbanathlon!

I ran the last leg of the relay. 52 flights/floors of stairs up and down, followed by the 2 mile run and concluded with the 10ft wall rope climb! I could have done better had I actually trained, but I'm just glad I got through it!
