We raced at Barber last weekend. The track is a blast, if you get the chance to ride there, it's worth the 12 hour ride.
Very nice. Is it worth the bazillion hours of driving?

We did the heavyweight classes, on 600's, and one middleweight race so there was about 30 bikes on the track but there was lots of open track.

Hey George, I loved it down there when I went. Sounds like you guys had a good time. Talked to Gary a few times over the weekend.
So who's winning the Mike/Geo race so far??

How's your recovery coming along?
Great time at a great track, as you know. Mike and I were tied leaving Daytona. At Barber we added Jack Deck into the mix.
Amongest the 3 of us.
Me 5 wins and 1 2nd. (Jack got me by a matter of inches at the line.)
Jack 1 win, 2 2nd's and 2 3rd's
Mike 3 2nd's and 3 3rd's
Best times were:
Mike 1:44:577
Jack 1:43.159
Me 1:42.011
We all walked away in one piece, which was the goal.

Looks like Jack picked it up... He really loves that R6 huh??
I'm doin fine. The bones have come back together with the help of the brace. I'm using my arm as much as possible but have hardly any strength. Another two weeks should do it. Then I'll work on getting the strength back.

Glad to hear your getting better. Recovery time sucks....
He likes the R6 a lot.
Jack stated the team challenge on George Ribner old bike (Mike bought it from George last month) and did great, we finished 6th in class, 12th overall.
The race he beat me in He passed me about 2 laps into the 6 laps and I dogged him for the race and waited for the last turn on the last lap and tried to take him at the line. We were side by side to the line but he got me by inches.
05 R6 power vs 99 R6 power and I lost.
