I bought it for work but they have since bought a company one so I have no need for this anymore. It's perfect if you carry a laptop around with you, want to back up your files on an external drive (if you haven't already, trust me, you want to), or put files in a secure area only authorized users can access. The only way you can authorize is with biometrics...which is a finger print scan. Also, it doesn't need an external power supply, it runs right off the usb cord. See the link below for more details.
