OK, so far we have 9 possible riders. I'm thinking we'll probably meet D&D (Hackettstown) around 7:30 am stands up by 8:00 am. from there we'll ride for about 1hr before stopping for breakfast, where we'll be meeting up with 1 or more guys in sussex co.. From there we'll most likely head north into PA for hours of backroad fun. We'll be back around 2pm. Pace is normally speed limit + 5-10mph. We do have the occasional spurt of speed here and there, but wont leave anyone behind.:ride:

80 west to Hackettstown, Andover exit. take a left at the end of the off ramp (517) follow that road to it ends in the center of town (you will pass M&M's) about 5-8 min from the exit. at the "T" take a left ( RT46 also called Mountain side ave?) follow that to the light there will be a Hess go staight throu the light D&D on your right. or map quest

Bout an hour or so depending on Parkway traffic. It's the way I go to my In-Laws. I take GSP North to Rt.78 West and hop on Rt.24 N which runs into 287 in Parsippany.

JAY agreed, it is always nice to meet the guys and girls from the forum, I myself have only met a few. And not knowing northern NJ or PA (north east), the roads are really nice, something for everyone and not alot of traffic :nod2: Bike friendly up here in the stix lol! its definitely worth the ride:ride:


PIT, it would take ya around 40- 50 minutes to make it to the dinner, I work in Summit often and it takes me around 40 minutes during the week in early rush hour. meeting at the diner would give ya a few more hours snooze time.:sleep:

no there are a lot of gas stations with in a mile of the diner.

It was great meeting all you guys, great turnout! Had a few :squid: moments from the riders on the R1 and CBR1000RR (not SBA'ers), but all turned out right. The only low point of the ride was herding up the other two squids that were getting lost (also not SBA'ers). Hope to be able to ride with you guys again before the season is out.:nod2:
