Pocono West 6/29

Well it turned out to be a beautiful day, left Hillborough around 5:15 in pouring rain. Once on RT. 78 it cleared up. Got into PA and close to Pocono Raceway and the fog started. Luckily for me when I got to the track it was gone!

West is an awesome track, although it is a bit bumpy coming out onto the nascar back straight (or in if you are doing east) and coming onto the back straight ( or exiting the back straight if east). Other than that it was a great course, and now right hand turns are my favorites = ) I think I became fond of turn 1...I loved the way it apexed. Anyway here are some shots takin by my father using his PowerShot S2 1S....

Oh heres a good story. After I'm all done with tech inspection and sitting in my chair waiting for the riders meeting. Anyway I never saw the guy with the red one in white group, but the guy with the black one was riding red and seemed to be getting passed at every corner, I guess good money doesn't make up for bad riding.

All in all it was a great day and now I can say, I don't have prefered side of turning :drink:
