K heres my problem, the bike fell over last week and ever since theres been a whine coming from the fuel pump-tank and the bike wont rev much over 10-12,000rpm without cutting out. Now I removed the tank checked my plugs they look fine, checked hoses, all looks good and overaul I cleaned the inlet screen on the pump and it helped it a little bit but the bike still idles ruff and runs like crap at the top end.

So what could have caused damaged to the pump? also I noticed on my FI Check codes theres is something showing up baout the air inlet sensor? I figure if the pump isnt giving the bike enough gas then the air inlet sensor might notice a lean condition and trip the code. Also the bike is popping alot out of the exaust on downshifts.

I dont know any help on this would be great.

After 12K does it completly cut out or is it more of a sputter? What side did it fall on? Air inlet sensor might be what contols the secondary butterflies to let air in. Might of knocked it loose.

The bike fell on the right side, and overaul it doesnt really stall or cut out, the rpms hit a certain part then it takes forever for it to move and then sometimes gets a boost from the pump i guess then takes off, its really weird but def has something to do with fuel.

update: Replaced the fuel pump with a used one and overaul I hear no whine anymore and the bikes runninga lot smoother and powerful. So Im pretty sure the problem is what I figured it was all along, a bad fuel pump that somehow got screwed up when the bike fell over.
