Well after going down on the beaver I had no bike to ride. So my buddy sean let me ride his track bike from last season, a 2003 kawi zx-6r. He got himself a gsxr 1k for this season. Anyways here is a pic of me showing him around the track!

How did you like the Kawi?

I don't have any after shots of the gixxer, I always forget get to bring my camera, then happens and I don't get a pic.

The kawi was alright. I heard they're a little twichy, plus the front forks are a little tweaked from a crash last season. So I was getting some wicked headshake on the left hand kink coming after the right hander you take braking off the straight. The problem was easily remedied by applying full throttle and having a really loose grip on the bars. Back end wobbled a bit under braking, otherwise the brakes were pretty impressive. I was taking it easy all day though, not my bike so I really can't say what I thought of it.

You'd be surprised how many "tweaked" bikes there are out on the track...and I'm not talkin the kind that gives you more hp
