LOL Thanks guys. I do plan to do some mods. As much as I like the under-seat exhaust, I don't like too much how it looks. We'll see how long I take to do something to it (since it would cost over half a grand to do something about.)

I felt like I had to go with silver because the RR's swingarms don't go with the black/dark frame.

Why they've been so reluctant as to go with a black MATCHING swingarm is beyond me.

Maybe it's a question of manufacturing. Maybe they made so many extras they have to use them up! LOL :D

As long as it's not too windy and rainy I'm set... The sooner I get passed the initial 600 miles to the first tune up the better! :D

Thanks again guys/gals!

You must change your name to silverstreaker or something now....take that Honda out with me and you'll get at least 300 miles on it in about 4 hours.
Good luck with this one, see you in the heart of riding season.

Tune up? You mean oil change and look over. Might as well do it yourself, seriously.

i dont know if you posted this already but how was it stolen?? did you leave it unlocked somewhere shady over night? im just curious b/c ive been thinking about getting one of those alarms that beeps you when someone goes near your bike. ever since i joined this site ive heard a bunch of stories about bikes being stolen and its making me paranoid. one kid on here had his bike stolen twice, i think.

Yep! my heart cries every time I see a silver 600RR on the road! :D

I figure I'll try to get a house with a garage before I get another bike. Another alternative if I find a good deal before then is to park it my friend's house.

I guess I forgot to reply to this:
The bike wasn't unlocked. I didn't have the alarm system installed yet because I was getting married and figured I'd wait until I clear that expense.

The day after I got married, between 11pm and 1am when my friends were leaving my spot, the bike was gone. I wasn't further than 20 yards away! The wheel was locked, but we all should know that means nothing to a thieves with a van.

The funny thing is the fact that the police officer's reply to my friend in regards to chances we'd get the bike back. I had to correct the police officer that there was next to no chance that I'd get the bike back. He said that it would most likely be recovered! tsk tsk!!! :)

well at least the police officer gave you some hope and tried to be positive.... when mine got stolen, he basically said "your fucked" which i already knew but hey you can dream cant you...
