ok I KNOW I AM a pain.. but i finaly got some new no warped brake rotors fro my bike.. they shoud lbe comming by next week. i know they have to be torqued down .. anyone know the torqu specs.




or shoud li just take the tires off and bring them to wcw caus ei also want to get my tires balanced

It is for the front...that I know of..I am guessing back is same..I'll check manual tonight.

whatever you need you should check out mrcycles.com they have every stock part for any bike.

buti dont need parts i need ot kow measurments so i can take off my damn front wheel.. i think its like 16MM butio have no clue.. i have to make a gizmo thigie (two nuts on a bold) to take it off liek i used to for my r6...

if you have an adjustable wrench that should be able to tell you cause i know my adjustable wrench gives a lil ruler. i looked all over the internet for a 04 service manual and no dice.

Though it was something crazy like 24mm...16mm is the pinch bolts I believe.

24mm is accually not that big either, my clutch slider was about that big and i would think the front wheel would be bigger.

Not real sure without looking it up, you probably need a special tool to remove the front wheel. Motion Pro sells a multi size tool that fits 4 different sizes. It should be an internal hex like an allen bit.

Try spell check, it may help people understand what you're asking.

Or...go to Home Depot and make the tool with a bolt and a couple of nuts...it is 24mm.

yup thanks cakes and NJ thats exaclty what i was looking for..
so its 24mm outside dimensions of th enut and bold.. meaning its a 16mm nut and bold?

and i will never use no stinking spell check :)

i did that whole set up in the pic and it didnt work.. ended up stripping the bolt and nut..

i guess one more trip to home depot for me..

ok illtry it one more time.. it cost me liek 50 cents for the set up form home depot.. :lol: i am a klepto.. so illtryit one more tim einstead of freakign getting a tool forliek 30 bucks and waiting two weeks for it..

Any dealer parts dept. should have it. Or I know wcw does...have him mail it to ya.

Same one for the Gix, isn't it? I use it on my Gix 600, 2001...I think.

got another set of the bolts and nuts and got the front wheel off
replaced one of the front rotors.. need more locktite to finish the second one
