Some of the race bikes there were just display models, but it's nice to see the rashed thru section on the lower of Miguel's bike.

I really didn't find anything that really stood out. It was a good place to buy T-shirts, lights, and look at custom bikes. I did like the race bike displays.

I got a great view of it only being a few feet away and that pic doesn't do a bit of justice towards the crafstmanship and detail put into that bike.

I only set up the RENJ booth.

As far as the occ stuff. You can see where the pipes were welded together, they didn't smooth them very well.

We went to the show today and quite frankly I think that Jordan stand needed to go. WTF does he have to do with riding....the whole gay basketball dunking emblem...save that shit for the court....don't associate the two....but I was dragging my knee on the buell...pictures soon to come...LOL..we'll if I get my copy from the boys....:roflmao:

Nothin' really floated my boat at the show, but I did get a new helmet, and got a great custom fit from Robert at The Service Pavilion! :boogie:

We got LED's for the bike....they are normally $130.00 for the 3 million light set...the guy gave us 4 for $55.00....not bad huh...but it's one thing to like basketball and the sport of riding....it's another to put a basketball player slam dunking on my riding jacket...it's like manufacturing a jacket with a golf ball and placing it on the back......WTF for? I'm not Tiger Woods, nor is there an association between the two.....I think it's just dumb.

i thought the show sucked as usual, no accessories, no cool aftermarket parts, lots of shiney soda cans and anti fog booths.

i rememeber when i could go there and find lots of shit, now theres nothing there but stupid shit and choppers.

The vendors had some decent stuff. I was intent on buying another leather jacket. 3 hours later I walk out with nothing but a credit card receipt and my girls got a brand new leather jacket. How the hell does that happen?

Why?

No innovation and plain. I didnt see one thing that really caught me. Worse of all was the lack of sport bike displays.

Were you expecting strobe lights and fog? Every production bike available in the US by Honda was on the floor at their display.

Found a good old bar "OldTowne Pub" I think it was called(near Union Square) and grabbed some food. Very good food:nod2: I even got to watch a couple get married at Times Square..Poor Suckers:roflmao:

Strobe lights and fog? Listen, theres a huge difference between displaying and "showing" your product. Dont get me wrong, it was my buddies at Powerhouse that were working it, but after walking around the other displays it became apparent that Honda didnt put much heart into theirs. Just having the bikes there isnt enough. I wouldnt let my sales people get away with it.

Blame TV for making the soda cans popular.

One thing I noticed from a lot of friends. When you are in the market for something like a bike or whatever, the show is somewhat exciting. When you basically have what you want, there is nothing to look forward to. I go to see people I don't see but once or twice a year, thats my payoff.

Stop at the Ear Inn next time on Spring St, it's a popular biker spot.
