It’s done… My TLS is officially back to being a 2-2. The 2-1 system will go on my TLR sometime later. The 2-2 is definingatly (haha) louder than the 2-1. I can’t comment on power differences due to it being to damn cold out but during the short ride I did take the devilish grin was bigger than had been for a while.

BTW… for those that don’t know this is the back end of a TLR system on the S.

But on with the show… with a dirty bike…

Asymmetrical hangers…

Since things are asymmetrical I had to fabricate new hangers. As you can see they are ver different from left to right.

I did a quick polish job on the front pipe… Over time no one will be able to see the mismatch.

You mean "highrise" ;) , but it looks great all the same.

BTW, I don't wanna hear you bitching about the cold, it's 20 degrees here and snow is back on the ground.

WTF is a high rise?

High-rise (his pics) is when the mid-pipe exits low and then gradually rises up to the mounting point of the can. The can is not parallel with the lower lines of the tail.

High-mount is when the mid-pipe exits high at sharp degrees then levels out so the can is parallel to the lower line of the tail section.

I've seen the RC51 run both styles...

You say toMAto, I say toMARto...

It's a bit of both. Buy just looks one could say a high-rise or high-exit due to the angle of the pipes. But it does also clasify and is marketed as a highmount due to the longer mid pipes raising the location of the mount of the pipe.

Hey it was only 12° warmer here... but no snow.
