Winter Project Complete

Well at least one of my winter projects are complete....back in june if I can recall I hit a tree and fucked up my bike pretty bad....the exhaust managed to get crushed and put a hole in the carbon fiber...so its taken me long enough to finally getting around to fixing it...

Instead of getting a whole new can or just the parts that I needed I decided to cut it up to where there was no damage and give it a little character...Now it looks like a stunter pipe...maybe it will be louder at least? I used a hacksaw to cut the carbon fiber, made a pretty good cut to my suprise....... Here are some before and after pics

Just waiting on a rivet gun to put the rivets back in and then she will go back on the baby and I'll get to hear how she sounds with the new and improved exhaust.

Nice job. Looks like something I would have done before spendig the money on a new one. If you don't like it you could always put it up on ebay as a stunter pipe.

ive got two smashed pipes i think i'll do that do have em as spares. a two brothers CF and a akrapovic CF. im gonna make one like 2 inches. lol

I figured I always saw stunters with those shorty pipes and also remember seeing the full CF exhaust race version for the zx10r was just as short so I said why the hell not.....

And Bob, Im working on a "New" Exhaust hanger :rofl:
