Not so long ago I shelled out some cash for a new exhaust system (hell of a deal I couldn’t pass up). It’s a full Yosh RS3 stainless system that I knew I’d need for my TLR track project. Now with some time on my hands I’ve been pondering a few other ideas…

Such as? You ask…

The TLS will get the rear section of the new system returning it to its roots as a 2-2. The extended mid-pipes that come with the TLR will give the TLS and even sportier and more aggressive look (or so I imagine).

The TLR will in turn get my existing 2-1 Yosh Ti TRS system. It will match up to the front section of header I will be receiving. My 2-1 started life as a TLR header so I know I can make all these changes since the front header section is the most important when swapping these systems and I’ll have both types (radiator clearance issues).

I figure the 2-1 will be better suited for the track as the risk of screwing the system is cut in half in a mishap. It also sheds some weight from the porky pig of a bike.

Only small issue will be the need to fabricate the needed hangers… But I’ll see what I can do :D

I’m at work… Bored out of my skull… Thought I’d share some of my lunacy.

see that's the thing if you can throw bunnies in the air like that who needs the full hanger system...it's funny but it works out like that so when you rev the ears...the bunny screams loud..

Can't wait to see the Tiller resurrected Bern. But a 2 into 1? On a twin? Damn the weight and performance, that is sacriledge.

Burn him, he's a witch!!!

:roflmao:

Put the new swinger on it and cleaned up a lot of the crud from a few years of use around the engine and sprockets. I also removed the pair system instead of blocking the lines; just need my plates to block the ports on the heads to come in. A GSXR 1k rear caliper has gone on (1/2lb lighter). New switch gear on new woodcraft clip-ons is also done (kill switch). I have a new Graves front fairing support that will work with the stock gauges... Sorted those out too.

Still a long way to go though. :)

It's been an invaluable tool so far and has seen extensive use over the past couple of years (is that a good thing ).

Pros:
Easy to use
Very stable even when at the highest setting
Folds upright for storage
Built in roller wheels and 4 tie-down points

Cons:
Price
Heavy... Not a very big con though.
Still need my fork and triple stands to do front end work.
Needs a solid middle section to avoid having to do this...
