1997 Yamaha TZ250.
Here's a link to specs although it says those are 2002 specs, they are not because the engine bore x stroke went to 54x54mm in 2000.

WOW, excellent horsepower-86.90 HP! The two-smoke revolution has begun!
Saw a guy a few years back took his up to Bear Mt. with a pack of four strokers. It was cool seeing one on the road. Is it difficult getting parts for these from over seas?

I'm actually a re-member of the 2 smoke club. I sold my Aprilias a couple of months ago in preparation (meaning I needed the money) for this purchase.
High_Revs, 86+ HP would be on a very tuned bike. I'll be jetting much more conservatively until I get a feel for it. I expect between 75-80hp. Still not bad for 230lbs dry weight.
Now I've got to convince ISM to come over to the dark(er) side - bwahahaha.
I'll take more pics if anyone wants to see details. It's a race bike so it looks better from 10 feet :roflmao:

I'd say thank you but it seems out of place. I just paid money for it. Not like I designed it or anything.

Rockin' at VIR North. Things started out shakey: new bike, cold slicks. But I started getting a bit of a groove around the end of the 2nd and into the 3rd sessions. The jetting was off so it would bog a bit coming out of the turns. But mission accomplished: got a shakedown run before winter set in. Dang it's cold out now...
