When sailing through the bay of E, I picked up a second set of rims to use for commuting purposes. I was tired of burning through my BT-012’s just for getting in and out of work.

Enter the squid… Er… Busa rider who has trouble keeping the bike upright when moving, though shows no issues with stationary burnouts and the ability to polish. But then who am I to complain, I own a grinder with a polishing wheel.

Anywho...

I got all excited and mounted the rear up since I only needed to transfer over the cush and hub/sprocket and spacers. I was surprised to see very little visible difference between the two (200/50 verse 180/55). I mean, you can obviously tell but I was expecting more I guess. It even fits under the hugger. Oh yeah, the cush he set was all stretched out and my hub fit in with little resistance and a bit too much movement, another sign of too many burnouts. I threw those in the trash. After 11k and several track days my cush is still as firm as a 17 year old.

Came with the rim. For commuting I'll go back to a 190/50 when I kill this tire and stick with the 180/55 for the track.
