Anyone else a PSP nerd?

I love mah PSP :) I watch converted DVD's on it, play old school emulators like Genesis, SNES and NeoGeo CD on it, stream music thru it if i'm downstairs...hooked up to my stereo, rip UMD games to my memory stick so I don't need the UMD game. (Blockbuster rules :) )

lol..yep...i knew it could do it...but stupid me figured it out AFTER I bought Burnout Legends and Ridge Racer from EB...fucking RR pre-owned was 34.99...5.00 cheaper then new..dur. I looked on ebay and saw RR for like 10-15.00...but i hate waiting and want things right away. I ripped both to my PC and sold Burnout on Ebay for 39.00 but had to pay 5.00 for shipping UPS...dur..so i'm out about 16.00 on it...but better then nothing.

I just joined Game Fly for a 2 week free XM trial and ripping the games...but GF sucks...takes too long to get the games...3 days plus they DONT scan the games like they're supposed to at the Post Office so GF knows I sent them back and to send my my next two games...I'm cancelling before they charge me.

So far I ripped Coded Arms, Namco Museum, Burnout Legends, Ridge Racer.....the first two games are about 180MB...but BL was 450MB and RR was 850MB...but theirs forums that tell you what you can take out to make the game smaller...like the 325MB music file in BL...but then you have no music but the file size is small.

Ofcourse you need a version 1.0 or 1.5 PSP to do all this...or downgrade your 2.0 to 1.5. Sony's already release a 2.01 patch after some guy found a way to hack into the 2.0 firmware through a picture file.

well it was just supposed to play UMD games and UMD video, view pictures and listen to mp3's...but hackers opened up the possibilities of the PSP....Sony replied with "that's not what it was intended for"...lol...too bad.

I already updated mine to version 2.0 and haven't been checking if I can get anything for it since. I have been watching my buddy's UMD movies on there... kick ass!!!

well there's a downgrader for 2.0'ers....brings you down to 1.5 and everyone's for the most part have no problems.
